With effective from 19th May 2022
Due to the recent wave of COVID-19, the Active Kids Sports Club has put in place precautionary measures for gradually resumption of classes at the Stanley Ho Sports Centre.
A. Measures apply to everyone (Vaccine Pass and Social Distancing Requirements under Cap. 599F)
- Compulsory Face Mask Wearing - For the safety of others, all program participants, users and visitors are required to wear a face mask at all times except during exercising.
- Scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” venue code - According to the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) (the Regulation), all visitors must scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” venue code by using the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile application before entering this premises. Exemption is given to those aged 15 or below or aged 65 or above who can opt to fill in this record form. Those who are under 15 years old with accompanied by an adult can be exempted from filling in the report form and LeaveHomeSafe scan.
- Vaccination Requirement - All persons at 12 years old or above must comply with the requirement of the Vaccine Pass for entering or remaining at sports premises. Please follow the Vaccine Pass requirement that announced by the Government.
- Body Temperature Check - Everyone will be required to undergo mandatory body temperature check at the entrance of Stanley Ho Sports Centre. Any individuals with temperature higher than 37.5°C and/or those who have respiratory tract infection symptoms will be asked to visit a medical professional instead of coming into the Sports Centre.
- COVID-19 confirmed case and/or close contact of a confirmed case - Anyone who have confirmed COVID-19 positive or had contact with a confirmed case is advised to contact us at activecse@hku.hk to reschedule activity after the 7-day period with RAT negative result provided.
- Return from Overseas - Participants returning to Hong Kong (including any travel to mainland China and Macau) must avoid using the sports facilities and adhere to the Government requirements after the date of their return. B. Measures to be followed by Active Kids Participants and Caregivers
- Only ONE parent/guardian will be allowed to accompany each participant.
- Parents/caregivers must put on face masks and not to gather together on the side of the pitch/court.
- Please remind children to wash hands before and after the activities.
- No food and drink is not allowed (except water) on the pitch and activity venues.
- Participants please follow coaches’ instruction at all time. For the outdoor soccer programs, side gates may be opened for exit purposes in order to reduce people gathering at the entrance.
C. Measures to be carried out by Active Kids Coaches and Program Operators
- All equipment will be disinfected before and after classes.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be available for participants at the pitches and courts. All coaches and participants are advised to wash hands regularly with hand sanitizer.
- Coaches will not allow anyone with respiratory tract infection symptoms to participate in the class.
- All activities will be conducted according to the Government latest precaution guidelines.
- Electronic whistles will be used instead of the tradition type.
- Stamps and high fives will be suspended for temporary measures.
- Blowing bubbles will be replaced with bubble guns for the toddler classes.
Stanley Ho Sports Center will pay close attention to the latest developments of the pandemic, as well as the requirements for scheduled premises as stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), and review or revise the above reopening arrangements in due course.
